UPDATE: Power Restored on PCH (May 8, 1:30 pm)

Southern California Edison is reporting that repairs to the power circuit that runs east along PCH between Carbon Canyon and Cross Creek Road have been completed and all power has been restored to the area. The circuit went out at 4:42 am this morning (Friday, May 8), leaving all residences, businesses and traffic signals from Carbon Canyon to the Malibu Pier without power. Traffic along PCH in both directions was seriously impacted during the outage, but all signals are now operational and traffic is moving normally in both directions.
