Environmental Ordinances and Regulations
- Green Building Standards Code -- California Green Buildings Standards Code (CALGreen) was adopted as Chapter 15.24 of the Malibu Municipal Codeand became effective January 1, 2011.
- Landscape Water Conservation Ordinance
- Malibu Local Energy Efficiency Standards -- Chapter 15.18 of the Malibu Municipal Code was adopted September 12, 2011 (Ordinance No. 357) and became effective October 12, 2011. These standards require greater efficiency than Title 24 (California Energy Efficiency Standards) and were approved by the California Energy Commission.
